Hiro + Wolf

East London meets East Africa.

Accessories designer Amy Fleuriot and craft development expert Bee Friedmann first met in January of 2011 while walking their dogs in London Fields in Hackney, London. They quickly discovered a common love for design, animals, and sustainability, and almost as quickly converted their shared passions into an accessories brand named after their two dogs, Hiro + Wolf.

Designing from their London Studio Hiro + Wolf produces all of its jewellery in collaboration with small-scale artisans and craft groups in Kenya that would otherwise not have access to international markets. One such group offers people with physical disabilities the opportunity for better livelihoods through training and employment. Working with natural, locally-sourced materials such as bone, wood and horn – as well as recycled brass and aluminium – Amy and Bee are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of their production methods.

Fabrics for the vibrant collection of pet accessories are sourced during Amy and Bee’s travels in Africa. Back in England the high-quality collars and leads are trimmed with bright neon and luxury vegetable tan leathers and fitted with hardware from a pet-supply specialist.

Hiro + Wolf’s commitment to sustainability, combined with a minimalist aesthetic results in a truly exquisite line for people and their pets.
